Yes, daily from about 9am to 5:30pm. Swim in front of the lifeguard tower and ask them about the day's currents.
Are there monk seals at Poʻipū?
Often. They rest on the sand and it's a protected species, stay at least 50 feet away and don't get between a seal and the ocean.
